Buttock augmentation (gluteoplasty) adds volume and projection to the buttocks and defines the curve between waist and hips. There are three options, and the doctor recommends the right one during your consultation based on your anatomy, the fat available and the volume you want.
A Brazilian butt lift (BBL) uses only your own fat: it is removed from the abdomen, waist or back and placed in the buttocks and hips. The result is very natural, but it depends on how much fat is available and part of it is reabsorbed over time.
Buttock implants, made of highly cohesive silicone gel, give greater, stable projection, with a scar hidden in the fold between the buttocks. Hybrid gluteoplasty combines both: an implant for projection and fat to shape the hips.

The technique depends on your anatomy, how much fat is available and the volume you want.
Hybrid gluteoplasty
Liposuction of the waist and abdomen, transfer of that fat to the hips to define the curve, and a round silicone implant placed deep beneath the muscle for projection. This is the basis of the Hourglass Plus package.

Round, highly cohesive silicone gel implants for patients with little projection due to genetics, underdevelopment, accidents or deformities.

Do buttock implants have a warranty?
Yes. We use implants backed by the manufacturer’s warranty, which you receive in writing; its terms depend on the brand and model. Surgery, like any medical procedure, cannot guarantee a result.
Myth: “all the transferred fat stays”
False. Between 30% and 50% of the injected fat is reabsorbed over time. That is why, if you want more projection or have little fat available, the doctor may recommend implants or hybrid gluteoplasty.
Myth: “buttock implants always look obvious”
Not necessarily. The doctor places round, highly cohesive silicone gel implants deep beneath the muscle and chooses a size in proportion to your body for a natural result. The scar is hidden in the crease between the buttocks.
Myth: “injected buttock fillers are a safe, cheap option”
