Calf augmentation improves the volume and contour of the lower legs. It is for people with thin calves that do not grow with exercise, those with differences between one leg and the other, and athletes looking for more definition.
There are two ways to do it. With silicone implants designed for this area, chosen according to the part of the leg you want to improve, for a predictable result with more projection. Or with fat transfer: I take fat from another area with liposuction and place it in the calves, for a subtler, natural increase.
Implants are placed through an incision of about 4 cm in the fold behind the knee, where the scar is practically hidden. It is not a very uncomfortable surgery: you walk the next day.
