A double chin does not always depend on weight: many slim people have fat under the chin that does not go away with diet or exercise. Facial and neck liposuction removes that fat with very fine cannulas to define the neck angle and jawline, with minimal scars.
If you also have full cheeks, I can remove the buccal fat pads in the same surgery. It is done from inside the mouth and refines the features of the face. If the neck muscles form bands, I tighten them as well.
During your consultation I assess the quality of your skin. If it has good tone, it retracts and defines the contour; if there is significant sagging, I will tell you whether a facelift is a better option.

Double chin and neck liposuction
With very fine cannulas I remove fat under the chin and along the neck until the skin reaches the right thickness. Ideal for younger patients with good skin quality and tone and mild to moderate fat deposits.
Face liposuction
In selected cases, I remove fat from areas of the face to improve its contour when the main issue is fat deposits.
Buccal fat removal
Buccal fat pads are fat compartments inside the cheeks whose size does not depend on body weight. Removing them refines the features of people with full cheeks. It is done from inside the mouth, with no visible scars.
Neck muscle tightening
If the muscles at the front of the neck form bands, I tighten them in addition to liposuction. In that case there is a scar of about 3 cm under the chin.

What to expect after surgery
