How much does breast augmentation cost in Mexico? What affects the price

The price of breast augmentation depends on several factors. Here is what a quote should include and how to compare without risking your health.

Dr. José Luis Daza · Board-certified plastic surgeon

There is no single price

It is the question I hear most before a first consultation. But breast surgery has no fixed price, because no two surgeries are the same: the implant, the technique and what each patient needs all change the cost.

That is why I do not quote without examining you. During your consultation I plan your surgery with you and you receive a complete written quote, with no surprises.

What the price includes

A serious quote should include everything needed to operate safely:

  • Board-certified plastic surgeon’s fees
  • Anesthesiologist’s fees
  • Certified hospital and operating room
  • Breast implants, with the manufacturer’s written warranty
  • Pre-operative tests
  • Surgical bra and medication
  • Follow-up visits after surgery

If a quote does not itemize these, ask what is included. What is left out usually appears later.

What changes the price

These factors have the biggest impact on cost:

  • The type and brand of implant, its shape and profile
  • Placement: under the gland or under the muscle
  • Whether you also need a breast lift (mastopexy)
  • Whether it is combined with other surgery, such as liposuction or a tummy tuck in the Mommy Makeover package
  • Whether it is revision surgery: implant replacement or correcting surgery done elsewhere

Beware of offers that are too cheap

Many of the complications I correct come from surgeries chosen on price alone: implants without a warranty, operating rooms that are not hospitals, or staff without plastic surgery training.

Saving on the first surgery can be costly: a revision is usually more complex than the original operation. I operate in certified hospitals with the highest safety standards, because a harmonious result starts with safe surgery.

Traveling to Mexico City

I welcome patients from other cities and countries. Breast augmentation is outpatient surgery, and most patients can fly home 7 to 10 days after surgery. We help you plan your dates at your consultation.

Before you decide, verify my Board certification no. 1477. If you are unsure about size, read What is the ideal breast size?.

FAQ

How much does breast augmentation cost in Mexico?

It depends on the implant, the technique and whether it is combined with a lift or other surgery. That is why the quote is given after your consultation, complete and in writing.

Are the implants included?

Yes. The quote includes implants with the manufacturer’s written warranty, plus surgeon, anesthesiologist, hospital and follow-up.

Why do prices vary so much?

Because of the implant, where the surgery is done, the surgeon’s experience and what the quote includes. Always compare what each option includes, not just the final figure.

How long should I stay in Mexico City?

Most patients can fly home 7 to 10 days after surgery.
